With one of the most celebrated careers in fashion, the iconic Karl Lagerfeld has been the creative director at Chanel for over 30 years, at Fendi for over 50 years, all while helming his namesake label. Lagerfeld is also an established photographer and artist, hence a large retrospective is only deserving for someone of this stature. ”Modemethode” is set to be the biggest showcase of the German polymath’s creative tenure, hosted at the Bundeskunsthalle museum in Bonn, Germany. Described by the museum as the “first comprehensive exhibition to explore the fashion cosmos of this exceptional designer,” we now have a sneak peek at the exhibition, thanks to Vogue international editor Suzy Menkes.
