Listen to This Fully Functional LEGO Turntable

Korean designer and LEGO enthusiast Hayarobi has created a fully functional turntable completely constructed of LEGO. Dubbed “The Planet,” the turntable is made with over 2,400 LEGO pieces and runs on a LEGO Power Functions 8878 battery and a Power Functions 8883 M-Motor. The tube amp and speakers’ LEGO cases also match the turntable with the same rich brown color theme. The only piece that doesn’t come from the popular brick toy is the Audio-Technica phono cartridge, a necessary component used to hold the stylus. “The Planet” is part toy, part gadget, and is the only one of its kind. The charming mechanism was unveiled at the 2014 Seoul Brick Pop Art Exhibition.
