Jamie xx Announces Debut Solo Album 'In Colour'

Upon taking to Instagram yesterday, March 26, Jamie xx released the full track list for his forthcoming debut solo album In Colour by uploading 24 block color “photographs” each bearing a unique hashtag. The hashtags have been presented in the form of a color code you might expect to see on Photoshop, with 11 of them leading through to a monotone curation of blocks with its respective track title thrown into the mix. Much like the kaleidoscope of colors used as cover art, Jamie’s latest project depicts a transition through the many stages of his career and marks the end of six years’ worth of work.

In Colour will be available to purchase in digital, CD and LP formats on June 2, 2015. A deluxe limited edition triple LP is also available and comes cut on colored vinyl with two exclusive instrumentals. You can now stream In Colour – Preview White Label on Spotify and hear new tracks “Loud Places” and “Gosh,” which will feature on the upcoming release.
