For Spring/Summer 2015, South Korean streetwear label thisisneverthat took a novel approach to presenting its collection. Creating a story and short film titled “Lake on Fire,” the Seoul-based brand spun a mysterious yarn involving three teenagers and an usual crime, adding some narrative intrigue to its warm weather range. The clothing itself, meanwhile, is comprised of an array of street staples made fresh with bold, graphic-driven designs, reworked silhouettes and unusual details. Highlights range from new spins on varsity and coach jackets, pullover anoraks, elongated zip-front shirts and tapered flight pants, along with athletic-inspired pieces in the form of football and baseball tees. The collection is rounded out by a strong selection of accessories, including a couple of collaborative items with JanSport and PUMA, and an equally noteworthy range of headwear designs.
