Nike always comes correct with its anniversary sneakers, and with this year marking the 30th birthday of the Air Jordan 7 there are surely some surprises in store for fans of the silhouette. This first release is inspired by the Barcelona, where Michael Jordan wore the shoes while leading the 1992 Olympic Dream Team towards their historic gold medal. A black nubuck and leather build features pops of color on the midsole, tongue and sockliner that is meant to evoke the feeling of the city at night. If you want to cop this retro release you won’t have to wait long, as they’ll be dropping at Nike, both in-store and online, on March 7.
