Stefan Marx x 5BORO NYC 5B Airline Series

Hamburg-based artist Stefan Marx joins skate and apparel brand 5BORO NYC to produce the 5B Airline Series. Consisting of six skateboard decks decorated with Marx’s unique illustrations of airplanes, the 5B Airline Series pays homage to New York City as the designs feature registration numbers representing New York’s various boroughs. In particular, the sixth plane, titled the “JFK” highlights a special illustrated graphic wrap, which showcases NYC staples including the iconic Greek Coffee Cup and The Big Apple. In addition, the names of 5BORO NYC’s professional skate riders and immediate crew adorn the top of each deck, adding to the bold color palettes and playful aesthetic.
