After first surfacing during this year’s NBA All-Star Game practices, LeBron James‘s “LeBronold Palmer” edition of the brand new low-top take on the Nike LeBron 12 is set to hit retail early next month. First employed by the low-top LeBron 9 a few years back, the “LeBronold Palmer” motif pays homage to golf great Arnold Palmer while also existing as the perfect nod to summer thanks to what is essentially a classic palm tree-laden Hawaiian print. As far as the silhouette itself goes, the latest LeBron follows the same path as past low-top versions of James’ signatures and, in this case, retains the design’s hexagonal Zoom cushioning, pairing the cushioning tech with a visible Max Air unit in the heel.
Retailing for $200 USD, the very first colorway of the LeBron 12 Low is due out March 1 at select Nike Basketball stockists.
