Hamburg-based Ethel Vaughn presents a new collection in collaboration with New York and Melbourne-based designer Sam Chirnside and MTRSFR. “The Gurkha” collection presents an avant-garde range that’s comprised of a jacket, track pants, 5-panel hats and a backpack that’s offered in three hand-painted camo colorways. Wild patterns are splashed across matching track suits and hats. The hooded jacket in particular is a unique unisex piece that features a sewn-in, hidden balaclava. You can now purchase the MTRSFR x Ethel Vaugn “The Gurkha” collection online. The lookbook also features an eloquent poem about the theme of the collection:
“Always collect and conquer the shadows
Because the shadows are what they fear
Reach out from the dirt
And the city is ours”
