Canon is known for its flagship line of DSLR cameras, and is about to add two more models to the higher end of its lauded range. The 5Ds and 5Ds R both boast a 3.2-inch fixed LCD, a Dual DIGIC 6 image processor inside, 61-point autofocus, and an impressive 50.6-megapixel full-frame sensor. Some of the other bells and whistles include Active NFC, WiFi, USB 3.0, CF/SD card support, and 1080p video at 24/25 and 30 fps (no 4K video for those who have been waiting for it). To coincide with the new cameras’ release, Canon is also dropping a new lens—the 11-24mm f/4L USM which the company claims has the largest diameter ever made for the DSLR category, with an approximate 126-degree angle view. The Canon 5Ds and 5Ds R are due to hit shelves in June and will be available for $3,700 and $3,900 USD, respectively.
