'Poltergeist' Official Trailer

A remake of the 1982 horror classic of the same name, Poltergeist focuses on a nuclear family’s recent move into a new suburban home. Unbeknownst to them, the residence sits atop a former graveyard. The film follows the family as they are haunted by angry spirits who kidnap their youngest daughter, forcing them to come together to save their child. Co-director Sam Raimi certainly bears a heavy responsibility on his shoulders, attempting to reimagine and contemporize this Steven Spielberg classic. The film is expected to open in theaters this summer, but in the meantime, enjoy the preview above.
