Beck Responds to Kanye West's Remarks

Despite getting some serious shade thrown his way from Kanye West last night at the Grammy Awards, it appears Beck isn’t holding any ill feelings towards Mr. West. In fact, it’s actually quite the opposite. Following Grammy festivities last night, US Weekly caught up with the 2015 ‘Album of The Year’ recipient and was asked about the whole Kanye ordeal in which Beck stated the following:

“I was just so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody,” and also added “How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?”

In regards to the Beyonce snub remarks from Kanye:

“Absolutely, I thought she was going to win. Come on, she’s Beyonce!”

And in regards to his artistry:

“You can’t please everybody, man..I still love him and think he’s genius. I aspire to do what he does.”
