Vans unveils its latest holiday offering, an extensive collection with Pendleton Woolen Fabrics. Although the skate imprint had already released an earlier collaborative Pendleton x Taka Hayashi x Vault by Vans range, the current series features a new set of prints that embodies the distinctive design heritage of both iconic brands. The Pendleton x Vans 2015 holiday collection reworks the Sk8-Hi MTE, Classic Slip-On and Era lace-up silhouettes with Pendleton’s hallmark tribal wool fabrics. The Sk8-Hi MTE is constructed with weather-proof technology materials, including Scotchgard®-treated uppers, warm linings and an internal heat retention layer for winterized protection in frigid conditions. In addition, a unique outsole construction reverses and extends the iconic Vans waffle pattern into a lug sole platform, which yields maximum grip on wet surfaces for the Sk8-Hi MTE model. The Pendleton x Vans collection is currently retailing between $65-85 USD and is available at Vans online and in-store at retail locations.
