Ron English "NeoNature" Exhibition @ Corey Helford GalleryAnimal kingdom meets pop culture.
Artist Ron English recently launched a new exhibition titled “NeoNature,” which explores themes of the animal kingdom and evolution entwined with a landscape of pop culture references. The exhibition launched with a bang, as LA’s Corey Helford Gallery opened doors to its brand new DTLA spot with the iconic contemporary and pop artist’s solo exhibition, where large scale paintings with names like Urban Bigfoot, Union Jack Tiger and Rhinocorn juxtapose animals with bright colors and symbols. A range of the artist’s sculptures also fill the space throughout. “NeoNature” runs from Tuesday to Saturday, 12-6 p.m. until January 9, 2016.
