If you’re a fan of 1990s basketball kicks, you’re undoubtedly familiar with the Air Zoom Flight “The Glove.” Originally introduced back in 1998 and donned on-court by Gary “The Glove” Payton himself, the eye-catching design was a can’t-miss thanks to its unique upper. Now the shrouded look is set to make a bit of a return with the introduction of Nike’s latest addition to Kobe Bryant’s signature line of footwear. Dubbed the Kobe Zoom Icon, the upcoming release offers up a modern, monochromatic take on the zippered upper, coupling the design with the tooling of the Zoom Kobe VI — last seen back in 2014 as a part of the celebratory “Prelude” pack.

Expect the kicks to hit NSW spots in limited quantities come January 15, 2016.
