Rare 1969 McLaren M12 Coupe up for Auction
One of three original editions worldwide.

Only eight M6/M12 GT coupes were ever built; only three of those eight were 1969 McLaren M12 Coupes; only one is up for auction. The M12 is a key model in the history of McLaren as it was the automaker’s first customer car, fashioned in the likeness of the M8As that won the 1968 Can-Am season. Manufactured by Trojan, rather than McLaren’s racing headquarters’ manufacturers, the car was converted into a road coupe in 1976 after participating in only several races in the early ’70s. Out of all eight M6/M12 coupes on the road, this is the only model fitted with the correct Chevy big block V8 engine as well. Check out this McLaren coupe’s details online before it hits the auction block.
