Blood Orange put on two separate “Blood Orange & Friends” showcases at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, NYC last night. For his sets at the venerated live performance monument, Blood Orange architect Dev Hynes enlisted some help from close collaborators Solange and Nelly Furtado. Dev Hynes included a musical tribute to Marvin Gaye during a part of his outing, and opening performances came courtesy of Ratking, Junglepussy and Le1f. You can check out some footage of the shows below. Over the weekend, Blood Orange and Nelly Furtado made headlines with the announcement of a collaborative project.
