Watch This Daredevil Set a New World Record for Longest Slackline Crossing
Step aside, Philippe Petit.
If Robert Zemeckis’ recent feature film The Walk left you wanting more, daredevil Théo Sanson is here to satiate your craving in his heart-pounding slackline crossing above, where he likely set a new world record. Precariously shimmying his way across 500 meters of slackline suspended between The Rectory and Castleton Tower rock formations in Utah’s Castle Valley, Sanson completed the stunt in frigid desert temperatures on November 15, while being filmed via aerial drone by the Camp 4 Collective. A stunning feat by any measure, and even more so set against the majestic canyon backdrop.
