Up until now, FILA had only presented one core ‘VINTAGE’ collection that paid homage to the iconic tennis aesthetics of the ’70s and ’80s. For the new spring/summer range, tennis continues to lend its design cues although this time around, the fashions of sailing and offshore racing of the same era also inspire the looks. To compliment the ‘VINTAGE’ collection, ‘Black Line’ will revisit the brand’s nostalgic catalog from the ’80s and ’90s. The collection playfully integrates the oversized “baggy” trends of the ’90s with the figure-hugging athletic Lycra fabrics of the ’80s across both men and womenswear. The FILA ‘Black Line’ Collection is set to launch throughout February and March 2016 and will be available at FILA UK online, as well as select stockists.
