Under Armour Introduces Stephen Curry's First Signature Shoe

Underlined by his dominance this season and last, Stephen Curry is sprinting his way towards a career of accolades. The first of these is delivered courtesy of athletic partner Under Armour, who has just blessed the Golden State guard with his inaugural professional model, the Curry One. The sportswear behemoth has also embedded the sneaker with two spanking-new innovations – specified to Curry’s explosive game, but useful for players all-around. Specially-developed ‘Charged’ cushioning converts impact into a responsive burst, while UA combined key elements from mesh and EVA foam to create Anafoam – a material inserted at key pressure points to alleviate stress and emphasize breathability. Debuted in a slew of new colorways, including “Home” – a special homage to the Bay Area – pick up Stephen Curry’s debut signature model for $120 USD beginning February 13.
