Late last year, The Plant Journal tapped multidisciplinary artist Sarah Illenberger for a unique contribution to its latest issue. Shot by photographer Sabrina Rynas, the resulting series — aptly dubbed “Flowerwork” — arranges a series of flowers against a pitch black background to create the illusion of pyrotechnics. You can check out the entirety of “Flowerwork” here while signed and numbered prints of the series from the Munich-born artist — who has previously contributed to brands like Nike, Hermès, MYKITA, and COS, as well as publications including Wallpaper* and Architectural Digest — are now available online for €240 EUR (approximately $283 USD) each.
