Joining tomorrow’s GT-2 release and capping off the collaborative “Grand Opening” pack — which kicked off last November with the GEL-Lyte III and GEL Saga — is a special edition of the GEL-Lyte V from ASICS and KITH. Designed by Ronnie Fieg in celebration of the redesigned and expanded KITH location on Bleecker Street in Manhattan, the GEL-Lyte V follows the formula set forth by the rest of the back and comes dressed in luxurious black glove leather while retaining its neoprene inner sleeve. Finally, waxed cotton laces, white lining, and a matching midsole complete the package.
The “Grand Opening” edition of the GEL-Lyte V is set to be available alongside both the matching GT-2 and the KITH x Aimé Leon Dore “Chapter 1” Collection this Friday, January 9 at KITH’s Manhattan and Brooklyn storefronts, as well as KithNYC.com at 11 a.m. EST.
