After generating quite the buzz surrounding their one-of-a-kind album – Once Upon A Time In Shaolin – Wu-Tang Clan member RZA has finally followed up requests for the album release by announcing that the album will go up for public auction. Perhaps underlining the progressive undertones of the album marketing, which effectively challenged notions of deteriorating value of music, the group circumvented the traditional auction houses in favor of online auction/marketplace Paddle8. With previous offers reported around $5 million USD back in April, surely this new-age auction will attract some large offers in 2015. Look for more details on the actual auction as it surfaces.
