Following news of the group’s reunion to provide the soundtrack to the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants movie, N.E.R.D. releases two additional songs for the forthcoming cartoon film. Aptly titled “Patrick Star” and “Sandy Squirrel,” the tracks exhibit a playful singalong melody featuring N.E.R.D.’s signature drum sequence sounds and Pharrell’s versatile vocals. Recently orchestrating the soundtracks to a number of animated films with much success, Pharrell and N.E.R.D. look to provide another dynamic offering to one of the most celebrated cartoons of all time.
