H&M has announced Ximon Lee as the recipient for its Design Award during Stockholm Fashion
H&M has announced Ximon Lee as the recipient for its Design Award during Stockholm Fashion Week. For the first time in history, it’s a menswear designer who won. The 24-year-old Parsons graduate is quickly emerging as one of fashion’s rising young talents. Raised in Hong Kong but born between Manchuria and Siberia, Lee was inspired by his childhood while creating his winning collection. The H&M Design Award was judged by an international panel, including Lily Allen, Luella Bartley, Tommy Ton and Lucinda Chambers. In addition to the show, he received €50,000 EUR (approximately $56,700 USD) along with a chance to have his designs sold at selected H&M stores and online this fall.
