Following the successful release of Live at the Beacon Theater, Louis C.K. will be offering another show online for $5 USD, titled Live at the Comedy Store. The comedian has experimented with this type of distribution model before, offering his HBO special Louis C.K.: Oh My God and his self-written, self-directed film Tomorrow Night in a similar fashion. Like Live at Beacon Theater, this special is independently produced by C.K, forgoing both physical and broadcast media. Although this method involves tremendous risk and financial burden, C.K. believes offering his material online for such a low price and without DRM will deter his fans from pirating his material.
