Google Has Suspended Sales of Google Glass

Following the attention and slight controversy caused by the introduction of Google Glass, it seems as if the wearable tech product will be discontinued. The London Glass store has been closed and customers will not be able to purchase the product after the next few days. Furthermore, Google‘s website for booking appointments at its store in London has already stopped functioning a few months ago, as some have reported. While the reason behind this decision is not clear, the BBC says the Glass team — headed by former Nest CEO and Apple product creator, Tony Fadell — “will focus on ‘future versions of Glass’ with work carried out by a different division to before.” Let us know what you think and if you’ve had any experiences with one of Google’s most famous products.
