Heavyweight producer Emile Haynie‘s star-studded Falling Apart single has been out for a few months now, but Haynie has just dropped a stirring rework of the massive “A Kiss Goodbye” dubbed “A Kiss Goodbye Reprise.” The original version — which boasts Charlotte Gainsbourg, Dev Hynes and Sampha as Haynie’s collaborators — wasn’t exactly lighthearted fare, but this extended “reprise” will really tug at your heartstrings. The layering of Sampha’s emotive, stricken vocals over Haynie’s more gloomy, ominous production really makes this new version strike a chord. You can check out “A Kiss Goodbye Reprise” above. Haynie will also be releasing a new single with Lana Del Rey entitled “Wait For Life,” which you’ll be able to hear on January 20.
