When it comes to making stars, Dr. Dre has shown that he has both the intuition in finding the right people and ability to nurture them into one. It began with Snoop Dogg back in the early ’90s then Eminem a few years after, and more recently Kendrick Lamar. Undeniably, all of these artists are, or at one point were, the biggest names in hip-hop. Although Dre seems to have moved onto non-musical business ventures (we’re also probably never going to get Detox), the ex-member of N.W.A has not yet forgotten his musical roots. In a story with Dallas-based D Magazine, a Texas-based rapper named Justin Mohrle is said to be Dre’s newest discovery and protégé. In a detailed profile of Justin, it is revealed that he has permanently relocated from Dallas to LA to work with Dre on a few projects, although he is forbidden to pinpoint what they are doing exactly. While things are still mysterious, Mohrle’s Instagram depicts that he has been in the studio with Dre and members of the Aftermath team, Gwen Stefani, King Mez, BJ The Chicago Kid and more. Check the images and tracks of JM below and we’ll update you with more as soon as details arrive.
