Jonny Johansson‘s inspiration for this season’s Acne Studios was to “give men what makes them feel comfortable and secure,” which transpired into a collection of English tailoring, donkey jackets and soccer influences. Johansson also explored the definition of masculinity, implementing the legging silhouette and questioning how it fits into our current idea of menswear. These inspirations resulted in a collection that maintained a very Scandinavian minimalism, but with sporty accents and clean tailoring. Standout pieces include a shearling coat with leather inserts, a long knit sweater with numbers, and a utilitarian military green coat.
