British label Tourne De Transmission offers an eclectic collection for the 2015 fall/winter season with a variety of global influences. The collection offers cable knit sweaters, worker jackets and oversized leather coats that feature reverse-washed denim and washed-out cotton fabrics. It draws upon references from Tibetan culture with its traditionally-woven IKKAT fabrics, ethnic prints and the saffron red color and variety of texture that reference the layering of Monk garments. The collection was inspired by the isolated sandy dunes of North Africa and the mountainous Himalayas “where the hum or rhythmic soundtrack of a snow covered mountain range is so deafening, it begins to become all encompassing.”
