Hermès 2015 Fall/Winter Collection

Strolling against a backdrop of large windows with the lit up Parisian cityscape, “man in the city” was the inspiration behind Véronique Nichanian’s fall/winter 2015 Hermès man. But the man in the city seemed somber, with a dark color palette and serious suits against the James Murphy remix of David Bowie’s “Love Is Lost.” However, this collection exudes a more urban flow than the previous, where sportswear was intermixed with traditional pinstripes and plaid, further cementing the hold of activewear in fashion. Jackets were styled with track pants, but of course, in natural Hermès fashion, the track pants were mink and the sweatshirts were crocodile. Models were clad in tied scarves, with beautiful and supple leather accessories, and although somber, the few pops of color against neutrals made for great outfits.
