Ariel Pink - Put Your Number In My Phone

Gearing up to the release of his double LP pom pom, Ariel Pink has released the visuals for his single “Put Your Number In My Phone.” Rocking a turquoise fur coat, cowboy hat and pigtails, Ariel Pink takes the day out to scope the mall for some potentials with his friend who he simultaneously pushes in a wheelchair as he is unfortunately strapped to an oxygen-like mask. Director Grant Singer comments that the video is a nod to the film Midnight Cowboy:

“It’s a story about friendship and the pursuit of happiness. Joe Buck and Ratso Rizzo dream of life outside the sea of vacant storefronts and lonesome chattel on display in middle America.”
