Craft Tube Amplifier by Stefan Radev + Partners

A Danish start-up asked product design consulting firm Stefan Radev + Partners to help design their first audio vacuum tube amplifier. The firm was able to come up with a product that was a balanced choice of proportions, materials and accents. The amplifier features a hidden dual dock, allowing the user to play music both wirelessly and connected, while the controls are embedded in the top plate. Constructed from wood and aluminum, the large top and bottom perforated shells help gauge the temperature to ensure that the amplifier doesn’t overheat. Furthermore the lower left and right sides of the bottom surface are slightly raised to increase ventilation. Take a closer look at the unique Craft Tube Amplifier above.
