Nike Unveils FC Barcelona's New 2014/15 Kit

Offering the very latest in performance innovation, kit technology and environmental sustainability thanks to Dri-FIT moisture wicking, laser-cut ventilation, recycled polyester construction, a breathable base layer, and a brand new fit – created using three-dimensional body scans of many of the world’s leading footballers – Nike presents FC Barcelona‘s home kit for 2014/15. Featuring bolder and wider stripes than the previous design, the new kit stays true to the iconic motif of the storied Blaugrana and now boasts deeper tones of red and blue. Barca’s shirt also sports a newly redesigned crest in conjunction with a unique relaxed blue collar that showcases the Senyera flag in the open V-neck – marking the first time the Catalan flag has appeared on the front of the club’s shirt. Inside the back of the neck is a blue pennant tab with the club’s founding year of 1899 and its inspirational motto, “Mes que un club” (More than a club). Rounding out the look of the shirt is yellow “Barca” embroidery on the exterior of the back of the neck while predominately blue shorts and chevron-emblazoned socks complete the kit.

Look for Barca’s 2014/15 home shirt to be available at select stores beginning May 22 before hitting Nike.com worldwide on July 17.
