Vogue Paris has taken inspiration from the world of Barbie for its latest editorial to be featured in the December/January 2015 issue. Shot by Italian photographer Giampaolo Sgura, the shoot sees supermodels Magdalena Frackowiak and Elisabeth Erm quite literally dolled up in the archetypes of 12 different designer labels and encased in oversized boxes along with a plethora of different brand-appropriate props tacked onto the inside, in an impressive feat of attention to detail. Among the brands featured are Moschino with its cloyingly pink couture collection, Gucci’s equestrian getup, the flamenco dancer of Dolce & Gabbana, and Ralph Lauren’s tribute to the golden age of American aviation.
