Factory Five Opens Shop in Shanghai

Shanghai fixed gear workshop Factory Five has opened a new shop, reminding the masses of the stylistic benefits of fixed gear bike ownership. After much contemplation and consideration, the new store, designed by Shanghai-based design crew LINEHOUSE, is an open plan and occupies a converted 1600 sq. ft shell that is an interesting combination of bike shop, restoration space and beverage rest stop. The store includes a kitsch-fitted storefront designed to ease the rider while they saunter through the wide catalog of bike peripherals, while the back has a design office and workstation. The new store carries Factory Five frames along with PAUL, Restart and Mission Workshop among others.
