Stephen Colbert‘s self-titled, satirical news show is drawing to an end. For one of his last guest features, Colbert catches up with Kendrick Lamar. Lamar and Colbert sit down to speak on the hip-hop star’s career thus far and how he prefers to be seen as a writer rather than a rapper, before taking stage to perform a new song. The new release is produced by Astronote and contains lyrical intricacy expected from Lamar, while backed by jazz and funk notes courtesy of Thundercat and compelling saxophone riffs from Terrace Martin and Bilal respectively. Enjoy the untitled track above and its MP3 version below.
