When it was first mentioned on our pages that California street staple The Hundreds would be teaming up with Reebok, there was palpable skepticism on the release’s potential. Fast-forward six months into the thick of Reebok’s 25th anniversary celebrations for the Pump silhouette and things come clear into focus. Following our article yesterday, here we take an in-depth look at the “Coldwaters” pack from the two parties, which considers two colorways of the classic Pump sneaker. The Pump has been modified into the Pump AXT, using upscale suede and matte finishes throughout the high-rising sneaker. The two colorways wittily draw on both literal cold water organisms – moss, corals, etc. – as well as the ‘cold-blooded’ mascot of the San Jose Sharks. Other details include special branded insoles and a nifty appropriation of the Pump logo on the left tongue. Packaged alongside two collaborative T-shirts, pick up this release beginning November 28 online and at The Hundreds’ flagship stores.
