Hot on the heels of John Galliano joining the Parisian fashion house as its creative director, Maison Martin Margiela has opened its latest store in Milan’s new Porta Nuova business district. What sets this particular store apart from the other 41 international outlets however, is that the Porta Nuova store sells only accessories. Boasting neighbors such as Costume National, Les Hommes, Christian Louboutin and DSquared2, the 775 square-foot minimalist space sells footwear, bags, jewelry, fragrances, eyewear and small leather goods for men and women, alongside a collection of design objects.
