Kendrick Lamar recently stopped by Hot 97 to kick it with Ebro and the crew and to discuss his latest work. Among other things, Kendrick addressed the criticism surrounding his latest single “i” by shedding light on the thought process behind the track. In an effort to add balance to the industry with a more meaningful record, he wanted to inject some of his soul influences on a more positive and inspiring song for those locked up or just struggling to live a better life.
