Essentials: Neil Barrett

Hailing from rural beginnings in Devon, England, Neil Barrett has gone on to become a household name in the world of fashion within the last three decades. Studying at both the prestigious Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art in London, he was recruited to showcase his creativity during his tenures at Gucci and Prada. It was in 1999 that the talented English designer launched his eponymous label with a strong focus on minimalism and quality. Fast forward to 2014, the label sells to 430 stores worldwide and is set to open a new headquarters in Milan, which will boast 6,500 square feet as well as successfully displaying runway collections every season.

As a man who is constantly traveling, Neil keeps his Essentials simple, retaining only the bare necessities he needs to get the job done. We start off with a leather string bag to house his coin pouch, sunglasses and notepad which are all of his own label.
