A new month has yielded a fresh start of sorts for burgeoning Southern rapper Big K.R.I.T., who is now set to reveal his third studio album to the world. The soulful spitter has courteously offered a stream of the album – dubbed Cadillactica – for free online. The title refers to a fictional planet, based around the concept of a Cadillac spaceship crash-landing onto a new world and offering the rapper’s first impressions. As such, K.R.I.T. tapped the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Wiz Khalifa, Raphael Saddiq, and even A$AP Ferg for the LP, seeking to break out of the rapper’s sonic comfort zone.
