VFILES Sport Plus 2014 Fall/Winter Collection

Following a well-received debut capsule for Spring/Summer 2014, VFILES Sport Plus — the new in-house line from New York retailer, VFILES — recently released its its first full seasonal collection for Fall/Winter 2014. The range — a result of demand from users and clientele for a full-scale line — re-imagines athletic wear, developing and enhancing their functionality through the addition of pockets, linings and practical detailing. The collection’s use of graphics, meanwhile, was inspired by the “U.S. straight edge hardcore movement,” resulting in a unique, of-the-moment range of sportswear styles. Standouts include pieces like the Striker Hoodie, checkered Awake Jersey, performance-ready Striker Shorts, and the double-layered Penalty Short, which fuses quilted detailing and the convenience of a tights-and-shorts combo.
