The brainchild of LAPSE and ZANEROBE designer, Nat Taubman, Barney Cools is a new school surf and streetwear brand hailing from Down Under. Inspired, appropriately, by a coastal lifestyle consisting of “design, surf, travel and festivals,” the label’s “Poolside Etiquette” debut collection features everything from wave-ready board shorts and tees, to more refined button-down shirts and pants. Standouts from the Fall/Winter 2014 range include laid-back, yet stylish pieces like graphic tees, all-over print woven shirts, sweatshirts and jogger pants — all of which transition easily from a day in the water to a night on the town.
