Joining Reebok’s 25th Anniversary of the Pump, Sneaker Politics presents its special edition of the iconic silhouette. Inspired by a historic ice cream parlor in Lafayette, Louisiana, this rendition sees the upper appearing in a creamy pig suede upper alternating between solid and perforated panels and accented with appetizing hits of bubblegum blue and cherry red. With the tongue reading “Last of A Dying Breed,” the owner of the ice cream shop was quoted saying “I believe it is the American way, but it is dying fast. This location is actually the last retail ice cream shop [of its brand] in the United States. It is a Lafayette tradition and my daughter and I fully intend to bring it back to its original state.” Look for the Sneaker Politics x Reebok Pump 25th Anniversary edition when it drops at Sneaker Politics and Reebok Certified Network stockists on October 25.
