Lil Wayne Announces New Release Date for 'Tha Carter V,' Reveals It Will Be Two Parts

In a recently released “P.S.A.” video, Lil Wayne has revealed two big pieces of news regarding his delayed eleventh studio album, Tha Carter V. First, Tha Carter V will be a two-part project. Wayne apparently has a lot of music he’s worked hard on, so much so that he’s going to need two separate releases to unveil the full project. Second, the release date for the first part of his upcoming double album will be December 9. No word yet on the second part’s drop date, but Lil Wayne simply says to “stay tuned.” You can watch the full “P.S.A.” announcement from Wayne in the video above.
