R.I.P.D. Official Trailer

Seeing as movie-going audiences are now no stranger to both comic book adaptations and the undead, it seems fitting to combine the two with the release of R.I.P.D. (Rest in Peace Department). Based on the comic book of the same name by Peter M. Lenkov and realized by German director Robert Schwentke, the story follows a recently deceased cop that joins a team of undead police officers to track down the man who killed him. Lead by Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds, the film also stars Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker and Marisa Miller. With big-budget special effects and a hilarious buddy cop dynamic, the concept is reminiscent of similar ideas that made the Men in Black franchise such as hit, but we’ll let audiences speak for themselves when R.I.P.D. hits theaters on July 19.
