Fashion is constantly reinventing itself at the hands of young designers, who are eager to create their own lane in a competitive market. Some lines are clearly influenced by concept-heavy lectures taught in the academy, yet others are refreshingly unique. We can classify Paulo Succar as the latter, with the young Mexican designer already creating an individual aesthetic in his recently unveiled Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook. Taking on the theme of “Obscure Biology,” Succar explores admirably sentimental subjects – dinosaurs, the solar system, geometric floral patterns, and skulls - in his bold prints. The rich color selection and fine tailoring serve as compliments to an already promising collection from Succar. You can find out more about the designer on his Facebook page.
