Tokyo Shawn featuring Joey Purp - World Turning

In our recent interview with Vic Mensa, he warned us that “SAVEMONEY is coming.” Today we get further evidence of that as we get the opportunity to premiere a new music video from two of the crew’s best-dressed, Tokyo Shawn and Joey Purp. During the course of the three and a half-minute video, we see quite the wardrobe changes from the two Chicago emcees, effortlessly switching between visvim, COMME des GARÇONS, Junya Watanabe, Y-3 and BAPE. The track, which first dropped back in April, features production from Caleb James and serves as a great example of why we’re excited about these guys, but we suggest you check out Joey Purp’s “Monologue” and Tokyo Shawn’s “I Know You” to get further introduced. ”World Turning” will be featured on Tokyo Shawn’s forthcoming project, Wave Theory, due out early next year.
