Before the relatively well-received Night Time, My Time LP released last month, many parties were more familiar with Sky Ferreira as a street-chic model than a musician, per se. While the successes of the album have certainly rejustified her musical career, the Los Angeles native also opened a new door for herself in fashion. Here, Maison Kitsune introduces Ferreira as the face of its New York-inspired “New Wave” collection for Spring/Summer 2014. The admittedly romantic photo set, shot by Henrik Purienne, finds Ferreira in sleek dresses and comfortable sweaters, highlighting Kitsune’s use of bold colors in the apparel.
